Comfort to my Soul

07.19.2018

Music has always been a part of my life. Even since childhood, music has been something that rejuvenated me.

When I was down, it lifted me up
When I was hyper, it calmed me down
When I was awkward, it helped me loosen up
When I was confused and lost, it helped me find my way back

Today I find myself trying to pursue music as a hobby. I am trying my best to learn guitar so I could sing to the music I play so that I could have the effects the music I’ve heard so far has done for me.

Do you have something you are passionate about? Something that makes you laugh? Something that makes you naturally so happy and bright?

If there is that something that has been there in your life that has comforted you, cheered you on, and made you happy, do it. Whether it be a profession or as a hobby, do it. What’s the point of making lots of money if you aren’t happy?

I chose my own path. I decided to pursue medicine and a specific path in Ophthalmology, but I don’t think I’ll ever stop singing and doing music here and there because it makes me feel alive and bright.

REVIEW – Bunnyhill Coconut Moisturizing Mask Pack

Leave a comment Standard

Today I am going to give my feedback on Bunnyhill’s Coconut Moisturizing Mask Pack. According to the packaging, it’s:

  • Skin Matching
  • Hypoallergenic Mask
  • Moisturizing

“Coconut oil is absorbed quickly into the skin, so provide moisture and nourishment, and it helps skin to be healthy”

Yes, that “so” before “provide” is actually on the packaging. If I could edit, I would change it to:

“Coconut oil is absorbed quickly into the skin to provide moisture and nourishment, and it helps skin to be healthy”

How to Use Instructions:

  1. After cleansing, dry face thoroughly
  2. Apply mask sheet onto the face
  3. Leave on for 15-20 minutes
  4. Remove mask and pat face with fingertips gently

Date Mask was applied: 07.16.2018
Time: 10:30PM
Left it on for: 15 min

My feedback of the mask out of the package:

  • This mask wasn’t as strangely tangled or wrapped in a too complicated manner. It took me good 10 seconds to gently unfold the mask to applicable form.
  • ** Most sheet masks I’ve tried came packed in a way that was confusing to unwrap, but this was a lot easier, so I like!**

I took the mask like so

Put it on my face like this.

My feedback with the mask on:

  • The sheet itself is so soft, gentle and smooth
  • Because it is coconut essence, it was very smoothing on my skin
    • My skin is usually super sensitive and turn red, itchy, and irritated easily, BUT my skin remained calm. There was no redness, itchiness, or irritation, which surprised me.
  • The scent is very gentle, not overbearing

I set 15 minutes using Siri on my iPhone.

~ 15 minutes later ~

Took the mask off after 15 minutes, patted the leftover essence into my face and neck area.

After mask removal feedback:

  • No redness, itchiness, or irritation after removal
  • Skin feels so moisturized and healed
  • Face has that nice healthy glow

My overall rating for Bunnyhill’s Coconut Moisturizing Mask Pack is:

5/5

I got this mask from Facetory’s 4 sheet mask pack subscription service. So if you’re interested in trying it out too, please check out their website at https://www.facetory.com. This post is NOT sponsored. I’m not an expert in sheet masks, I’m just someone who likes it, is picky with about it, and wants to just leave a feedback.

Summer Loving @ Newport Beach, Balboa Pier, CA

I love the state I grew up in. I love it’s brilliant rays and warm weathers with cool breezes despite getting tan from it from time to time. Today I found myself on the road to Newport Beach, California to get some fresh air. I haven’t really been here at an age where I could really comprehend how beautiful and clean it was. I am glad I drove through all the nasty traffic at 5PM to feel the soft breezes, hear the ocean roar and people enjoy time with the families, swim or even fish.

I’ve been to Huntington and Laguna beach many times. However, I don’t think I’ve found a beach so clean and free of birds such as this one. I felt safe and secure. And finding parking wasn’t bad either. I found a parking instantly as I entered the parking lot. It was great.

The people were so kind. They were a little skeptical of me asking them to take pictures of me because I was alone haha. When I wasn’t sure exactly which beach or pier I was at, I asked two old couple. They kindly told me that I was at Balboa Pier/Balboa Island at Newport Beach.

What I love about going on trips to places even if it’s within state, out-of-state, or abroad, is meeting new people, seeing new things, eating different foods, learning about the culture and history of the place, and most of all seeing the love the people express through their smiles for the place they live in.

I recently took a little road trip to Santa Monica Pier. After roughly 2 hours of driving through Los Angeles traffic, I finally arrived at this beautiful location. It was great to see so many different people enjoy music, food, and the beautiful view. The breeze was amazing with the sunny California rays looking down on me.

Just uploaded my new video. It’s a simple video of me just saying “hello” to the youtube community. I don’t particularly like binding myself to specific categories to work in. I like to just explore and have fun. But it generally outlines my interests and what you will probably see in my videos and video blogs. Come along with me on my adventures of this journey called life. Let’s encourage and love one another in goodness and truth. Let’s not let negativity consume our lives, but let’s have our positivities shoo-away all the bad things.

Smile is a beautiful thing

You are beautifully made

You are loved beautifully by beautiful people

Don’t let negativity drag you down

Encourage, not curse

Correct with love, not with pride

And be yourself

Fresh Brothers, Irvine, CA – Review

Leave a comment Standard

April 16, 2018 (Monday)

How I Found Out?: My old church friend told me about it. He was bragging about how fresh pizza from here is.

Address: 13258 Jamboree Rd, Irvine, CA 92602
Phone: (714) 598-2828
Hours:

              Mon-Thurs & Sunday: 11:00am-9:00pm
              Fri & Sat: 11:00am-10:00pm

The exterior of the restaurant looks like this. It is located by the Tustin Market Place and its confusing at first due to shadow that glooms over the signs. However, the environment and the feel of the place is very nice and soothing. Lots of greenery from the plants both on the ground and high up from palm trees. There’s a water fountain display and lots of tables outside with bright yellow parasols for those who enjoy dining outside in the sun.

The interior is done with the color theme of neutral black, white, and wooden textures to give a clean feel. The countertops are stainless steel. Pops of color for point and hunger-sensation is red and yellow. There are multiple TVs displaying various movies, news, tv shows to cater towards various age groups. The new is neatly organized, but I think it would’ve been better if the two clear menus on the either end would be either white or red, because it was hard to see.

They have on the wall and off the wall, hand menu as well. I will recommend using the hand menu because there’s pictures to refer to, which helps a lot. So I’d say the menu on the wall is for the formality.

There’s many options for drinks. Either you chose the bottled options or fountain drink option. I’d say fountain cuz you get more options. There’s iced teas, both sweet or unsweetened, if you’re feeling the crave for some tea. I personally like the clear caps provided for concealing the fountain drink cups, because it allows you to see what you’re drink. (That’s just my thing). It seems like they maintain the place very well because the area with condiments and utensils was very clean.

After placing your order, you are given a table number to place on your table (only if you are ordering for “here”). Each table comes with its own napkin dispenser, parmesan cheese, and (I believe) Italian seasoning.

What I Got: Personal size Da Works with added pineapple toppings. (Yes, I’m part of the pineapple crew).

It’s the perfect size for one person who can’t eat a whole lot. Even if it is on a small plate, the amount of toppings made for it.

This little dude of a pizza was literally
over an inch thick despite it being a
thin crust pizza.

I am a vegetable muncher, basically a human bunny. I eat my vegetables raw with no dressing and enjoy the taste and texture of the vegetable itself. So that being said, the vegetables on this pizza was very fresh. Freshly cut and freshly made. I have to say the pineapple bits made things all the more better.

I have to mention that they were very generous with the toppings. I was thoroughly surprised.

I got full after my 2nd slice and then was done by my 3rd slice. Overall, my experience at this pizza place was good.

One thing I didn’t particularly like was how overly cooked my cheese and pepperoni was on top of my pizza. They were all just melted together and I didn’t get the whole cheese stretch experience or got to each my pizza without the difficulty of the whole top of the pizza sliding off.

Rating: I would give this place a 4/5 stars.

I am back

Hello! This is AngieHamie reporting in after a long period of time of “no post.” I did not leave nor have I stopped adventuring for food. I recently returned home from my military service and I was trying to catch up with school, work, and friend/family before engaging in more of what I love doing. I apologize for just leaving. BUT I am back!

I'm Back

I am back with more interests and content. My area of focus in this blog would be food, fashion, and creative DIY adventures. I can’t wait to start sharing with you all the places I’ve been to and my own feedback of each location. I also can’t wait to share with you all the knowledge and recommendations I have for stationery/school supplies and what I thought of each product from a specific brand.

Thank you for those who are patient and understanding. I will continue to sport more feedback because I actually had a lot stored up hahaha.
